Return Policy:
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT YOU RECEIVE A FACTORY DEFECTIVE ITEM YOU MAY RETURN FOR A REPLACEMENT OR EXCHANGE WITHIN 7 DAYS FROM ITS ORIGINAL SHIP DATE. ALL RETURNS REQUIRE THE USE OF A RETURNED MATERIAL AUTHORIZATION (RMA) NUMBER, WHICH MUST APPEAR ON ALL COMMUNICATION ABOUT THE RETURNED ITEM AND ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE SHIPPING PACKAGING.
Everything must be returned by the 7th day from shipment under the above return policy. Item/s returned are subject to an inspection/testing period conducted by either an authorized service center or by BenStore PC. We reserve the right to refuse return or exchange for items that are not determined as factory defective by the manufacturer or BenStore PC. When a Free Shipping coupon/promo is offered, it is deducted from the product's price and shipping is always charged on all items shipped. Shipping is non-refundable. If you are sending your order back for a return, you must ship the products to BenStore PC in their original packaging with complete accessories and bundles, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment.
Other Terms & Conditions:
Purchases come standard with a 1 Year BenStore PC Limited Warranty unless otherwise stated and no shipping coverage for mail-in Depot Repair. Any system that is sent in for repairs, that are the result of faulty hardware added by anyone other than BenStore PC, will not be covered under the Warranty and will be charged a diagnostic fee for testing & diagnostics including the actual repair. Physical damage (liquid damage, physical abuse, etc.) will void the BenStore PC Warranty. Barebone batteries and power adapters are warranted through the manufacturer. Any reports of missing/damaged items need to be reported within 1 week of delivery. When returns are set up for External Accessories purchased, they must be returned unopened in their original retail package to be eligible for a refund.
From time to time promotional items are offered for Free during promotional periods. The price of these items is taken out of the price of the laptop/PC and provided as a Promotional Item. In the event of a return for refund, the price of the item will be deducted from the refund if the Laptop/PC is returned. Additionally, sometimes promotions or discounts are offered on the manufacturer which requires shipment to BenStore PC. In the event an order is canceled after departure from the manufacturer, the shipping fees back to the manufacturer will be taken out of the refund.
BenStore PC may contact you prior to processing your credit/debit card payment. Upon confirmation of your order details, your card payment will then be processed. Once an order is confirmed and payment is processed, any refund requested thereafter will be subject to a cancellation fee due to labor involved with the processing and/or production of the order.
Non-Refundable BenStore PC Services
Due to the amount of time spent customizing and testing computer systems, BenStore PC Services are non-refundable services. In laptop and desktop configuration pages, any option labeled "BSPC Service" is a service from BenStore PC which is non-refundable upon the return or cancellation of any system. Order Cancellations
Reservation fees or initial payments are non-refundable. Item/s ordered must be completed in 2 weeks' time by settling all remaining balances else the order will be considered as canceled. Canceled orders take 24-48 business hours to complete. If shipment takes place before cancellation is completed, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges. Any laptop or desktop orders canceled after moving to production status are subject to a 3% cancellation fee due to the high amount of labor involved. If you decide to cancel your desktop/laptop order and your order has already gone into the production phase (phase 2) or has shipped, a 15% restocking fee will be assessed due to the high amount of labor involved.
Procedures for Obtaining Warranty Service
RMA (Returning Merchandise Authorization) Policy:
If repairs are required, the customer must obtain an RMA number and provide proof of purchase. RMA and services are rendered by BenStore PC or Authorized Service Centers only. Any shipping costs on any item returned for repair is the customers' responsibility, unless specifically indicated otherwise. Please contact [email protected] if you have questions or concerns about your particular warranty. All returned parts must have an RMA number written clearly on the outside of the package along with a letter detailing the problems and a copy of the original proof of purchase. No COD packages will be accepted. No package will be accepted without an RMA number written on the outside of the package. RMA numbers are only valid for 30 days from the date of the issuance.
After One-Year Warranty - Post Warranty Repair
For post 1 year warranty repair or unless otherwise stated, the procedure is the same, however; you are responsible for shipping charges both way, current labor fee, and the current price of part(s) used in the repair.
Governing Law
This warranty policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any litigation under this agreement shall be resolved in the trial courts of Manila, Metro Manila, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction on this matter.
Shipping Instructions
BenStore PC advises shipping the computer in the original box and packing materials. If the original box and materials are no longer available, please call your shipper to receive specifications for shipping a package through them. Please do not attempt to ship through couriers which have no way of tracking the package in the event the package never arrives at BenStore PC. We recommend LBC, 2Go, FedEx, or any other shipping company that uses tracking technology.
YOUR RMA NUMBER MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX OR PACKAGE. TAPE A NOTE TO THE SIDE OF YOUR COMPUTER, INSIDE THE BOX OR PACKAGE. THIS NOTE SHOULD BE INCLUDED:
YOUR FULL NAME, ADDRESS, RMA NUMBER, DAYTIME PHONE NUMBER, AND PROBLEM(S) DESCRIPTION.
FULL SYSTEM:
- The box should able to handle a weight of 40~50 lbs.
- There should be a minimum of 3" of space on all six sides of the computer.
- The 3" space shall be fitted with BLOCK FOAM material. Make sure the material will absorb an impact if dropped.
- Use heavy-duty 3" packing tape rated at 60 lbs.
- When you ship your BenStore PC product in for repair or credit, BenStore PC is not liable or responsible for freight damage. It is recommended that you insure the package in the event that your BenStore PC product is received freight damaged, you may be able to file a claim with your shipper.
- If your computer is damaged due to improper shipping, you must instruct BenStore PC to repair or return your computer within 30 days. The computer left beyond 30 days will be subject to a storage fee. However, in no event will storage of your computer exceed one year. Any item left beyond one year shall be discarded at BenStore PC's sole discretion.
- ALL DAMAGE WILL DELAY THE RETURN OF YOUR COMPUTER.
Individual parts must be handled in a similar manner:
- The parts must have sufficient protection to prevent damage, use an anti-static bag for memory and peripherals.
- Hard drives, Floppy drives, CD-ROMS, and peripherals must be boxed. Never use an envelope. These parts are sensitive to being dropped or crushed.
- Any package received damaged will be kept in the receiving department and the Technical Support and Customer Service Supervisors will be contacted in order to contact you regarding the damage. You will then be advised to file a claim with the shipping company.
Typographical and Pricing Errors
BenStore PC is not responsible for any typographical and/or pricing errors on the website. In the event of a typographical and/or pricing error, BenStore PC reserves the right to deny or refuse any order. BenStore PC makes all efforts to ensure the accuracy of the description and pricing on all of the products.
BenStore PC OWNS ALL PARTS REMOVED FROM REPAIRED PRODUCTS. BenStore PC USES NEW AND RECONDITIONED PARTS MADE BY VARIOUS MANUFACTURERS IN PERFORMING WARRANTY REPAIRS AND BUILDING REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS. IF BenStore PC REPAIRS OR REPLACES A PRODUCT, ITS WARRANTY TERM IS NOT EXTENDED THIS WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY TO HARDWARE PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED BY OR FOR BenStore PC THAT CAN BE IDENTIFIED BY THE BenStore PC TRADEMARK, TRADE NAME, OR LOGO AFFIXED TO THEM.
BenStore PC PROVIDES NO WARRANTY FOR ANY SOFTWARE PROVIDED WITH ITS PRODUCTS; SUCH SOFTWARE IS WARRANTED SEPARATELY BY THEIR MANUFACTURERS.
This warranty does not cover COMPONENTS OF THE SYSTEM THAT DO NOT MEET BenStore PC's DEFINITION OF DEFECTIVE INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LCD PANELS WITH LESS THAN FOUR (4) DEFECTIVE PIXELS (If the LCD screen is scuffed or scratched the defective pixel warranty on the LCD screen is void), AC Adapters and Batteries other than the original primary AC Adapter and Battery provided with the laptop (The original primary AC Adapter and Battery are only covered for 6 MONTHS from the date of purchase), normal wear and tear and any cosmetic damage to a Product that does not affect functionality, damage due to external causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, damage caused by improperly packaging the warranted Product before being shipped in for repair, servicing not authorized by BenStore PC, usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by BenStore PC. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY IF THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN MODIFIED WITHOUT THE WRITTEN PERMISSION OF BenStore PC, OR IF ANY BenStore PC SERIAL NUMBER HAS BEEN REMOVED OR DEFACED. Failure resulting from liquid damage will void the remaining warranty term.
THE WARRANTY AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BenStore PC SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES. INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NO BenSTore PC DEALER, AGENT OR EMPLOYEE IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY MODIFICATION, EXTENSION, OR ADDITION TO THIS WARRANTY. BenStore PC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, DOWNTIME, GOODWILL DAMAGE TO OR REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY AND ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, REPROGRAMMING OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH BenStore PC PRODUCTS.
NOTE: Before you ship the product(s) to BenStore PC, back up your data on the hard-disk drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). BenStore PC will not be responsible for any lost data for any reason. Remove any removable media, such as diskettes, CDs, or PC Cards.
